China Becomes Kazakhstan's Largest Supplier of Fruits and Vegetables, with Grapes, Apples, and Citrus Leading the Growth
According to a report by the Kazakh media outlet Zakon, in the first nine months of 2025, Kazakhstan's fruit and vegetable imports from China grew by 39%, reaching $181.7 million. Trade and investment policy expert Yernar Serik noted that for the first time, China has surpassed Uzbekistan in the value of fruit and vegetable exports, becoming Kazakhstan's largest supplier of imported fruits and vegetables.
